New phones with dual-core processors are going to be hitting the market in greater numbers this summer. Motorola was the first manufacturer to release one, the Atrix, which was made available on AT&T’s network earlier this year.

One of the big names to keep an eye on this summer will be Samsung, with their new GALAXY S II. It will come complete with a dual-core application processor, a 4.3″ SUPER AMOLED screen, quad-band capability, a 1650 mAh battery, and will ship with Android 2.3 — all packed into an 8.49 mm-thin package, according to Samsung’s website.
