Seoul, South Korea –

Attorney Kim Hyeong-seok filed a lawsuit on behalf of over 27,000 iPhone users in South Korea claiming the iPhone and Apple have violated their privacy.

In what became a PR battle for Apple, users claimed in their suit that Apple wrongly recorded and stored user location and service information for up to a year. They each seek 1 million won in damages. The attorney previously filed the same lawsuit for himself and won the suit.

1 million won is equal to $937 US dollars.
