Miami, Fla. -
Police are holding Jeffrie Alexander Galeano of Hialeah in jail on a $100,000 bond as he stands accused of beating his infant son.
According to police, the four month old had been crying and that was too much for Galeano, who became violent towards the baby in an attempt to silence his son. He is facing two counts of aggravated child abuse.
It happened at 200 block of E. 2nd Avenue in Hialeah, Florida. Medical findings also report that the infant had been in various stages of healing from other wounds previous to this event. The child’s brain also had some hemorrhaging, which is a result of shaken baby syndrome, police wrote in their report.
