The trial that accuses Michael Jackson’s doctor of being responsible for his death started today and was opened by a graphic picture of the popular music singer laying on a hospital bed.
The photo was shown to the jurors along with an audio tape of the singer trying to talk but his words were so slurred, he cannot be understood. Dr. Conrad Murray stands accused of the involuntary manslaughter of the “king of pop”. He faces four years in prison and loss of his medical license if convicted, though the trial and controversy is sure to end his career regardless say some analyst.
Michael Jackson died of overdoes of propofol, something his doctor is accused of giving him in does consider lethal. He died on June 25, 2009, one night after he was dancing at a show at the Staples Center.
