Time Magazine has come out with its list of the top 10 cleanest cities in the U.S. based on the World Health Organization’s list of cleanest cities around the world.

1. Clearlake, California

2. Santa Fe, New Mexico

3.  Cheyenne, Wyoming

4.  Kahului-Wailuku, Hawaii

5.  Dickinson, North Dakota

6.  Farmington, New Mexico

7.  Jackson, Wyoming

8.  Pocatello, Idaho

9.  Silver City, New Mexico

10.  ….

Its also interesting to note that according to the USGS, these areas are also likely to experience the most destruction and volcanic ash from an eventual eruption of the supervolcano in Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming.
