Israel Apologizes For Death of Egyptian Police at Border

Israel has apologized to Egypt for the death of Egyptian police who were killed by Israeli gunfire while in pursuit of criminals at the border with Egypt in an incident that happened two months ago.
Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak issued the apology following a joint investigation between Israel and Egypt saying he needed
“to apologize before Egypt on the deaths of all Egyptian police while carrying out their duties, as a result of gunfire by our (Israeli) forces.”
