Daramius Brown and 4 Minors Arrested After Police Chase For Grand Theft Auto, Fleeing, Possession of a Firearm By a Minor

Orange County Sheriff Deputies have arrested 18 year old Daramius Brown and four other minors who were in a stolen Honda and suspected in an earlier shooting that wounded a women in the hip after robbing her. The driver of the vehicle did not stop and eventually crashed into a power pole.

They have been charged with grand theft of a motor vehicle, fleeing and eluding and possession of a firearm by a minor. They also face possible charges of robbery, and attempted manslaughter. Two handguns were also found in the stolen Honda they were driving when they crashed.

Deputies say they attempted to stop the vehicle late last night around 1a.m. when they attempted to get away and outrun police on Apopka-Vineland Road.
