A 32 year old Texas man was diving at Rottnest Island off of Australia's western coast when he was attacked by a great white shark, according to police Sgt. Greg True.
He was diving with two friends in the water at the time of the attack. His nearby friends noticed a lot of air bubbles then a plume of blood rise to the surface. They were able to get him to shore but he died of his injures shortly after.
Experts say his injuries and the bite pattern are consistent with a great white attack.
This attack is the second one in less than two weeks near Perth, Australia.
