Tampa International Airport stops some construction projects
Officials at Tampa International Airport officials have announced a series of halts expansions and renovations. The projects being put on hold are $175,000 for office renovations for the Airport executives and vice presidents, $325,000 for a new entrance to the authority’s executive’s offices, and $338,000 expansion of the Authorities board room. The postponement of the projects will enable the facilities division to focus on other parts of the $30 million main terminal renovation and the $27.6 million renovation of the international airside terminal. The airport is still moving forward with the renovation of offices in the main terminal and administration building across the street that is estimated to be $225,000.
