Norovirus outbreak on two South Florida bound cruises

Two South Florida bound cruise ships are dealing with outbreaks of the norovirus a gastro-intestinel virus. The ships with are both Princess Cruise Line ships are the Ruby Princess and Crown Princess which are headed to dock in Fort Lauderdale. The cruise line alerted future passengers of the ships that there would be a delay in re-launching the ships as the ships will need to go under prolonged disinfection at Port Everglades. On the Crown Princess a reported 140 passengers and 18 crew are ill while on the Ruby Princess its 81 passengers and nine crew suffering.
