Honda Recalling 2012 Honda Civics For Drive Shaft Failures

Honda has announced that it is recalling some 2012 Honda Civics in the U.S. due to an improperly manufactured drive shaft that could lead cars be unable to accelerate or the engine to get any power to the wheels (loss of power).

In all, about 50,000 Civics are included in the recall. It also said that cars parked on includes could roll away if the parking brake was not set properly.

Honda has asked owners of 2012 Civic's to contact their local deal to schedule an appointment for an inspection and repair if necessary, and that the cost of the inspection and repairs will be free.
