JetBlue Pilot Clayton Osbon Found Not Guilty In Amarillo

A federal court in Amarillo Texas has found JetBlue pilot Clayton Osbon not guilty by reason of insanity, for his outbursts that forced the flight from New York to Las Vegas to make an emergency landing in Amarillo.
Obson, during the flight had to be subdued by flight attendants ans passengers after shouting in the aircraft's passenger cabin, using odd and disturbing statements.
During the ruling, Obson was told he can not leave the mental facility until there is clear evidence that he is no longer a threat to the public or himself. The judge noted that Osbon suffered from a "severe mental disease or defect".
JetBlue has not fired Osbon yet, and has kept him on "inactive" status while providing assistance to his family.
