Apple Confirms YouTube App Will Not Be Included On New iOS For iPhone and iPad

Apple recently confirmed that YouTube will no longer be included on its new iOS for iPhones and iPads saying "our license to include the YouTube app in iOS has ended." Until now, Apple had paid Google, the owner of YouTube, a license fee to put the app on its iPhones.

Apple did say that Google is now working on a new YouTube app to be available in Apple's App Store but gave no details about if it will be available in time for the newest iPhone, slated to be launched in September.

Apple said users can use their Safari browser and watch YouTube that way.
