To the dismay of meat-a-tarians worldwide, McDonald’s will be opening up new vegetarian fast food restaurants soon. The McAloo Tikki burger already accounts for a quarter of all sales for McDonald’s in the land where cows are sacred and meat offerings are significantly reduced, mostly to tourist.
McDonald’s already operates 278 location in India, all offering only limited meat options, but the new veggie location being opened in Katra, a town near the Hindu pilgrimage site of Vaishno Devi will be completely vegetarian.
The site of the next location will be next to the Golden Temple in India.
McDonald’s also has customized menus in other countries such as Kosher fast food restaurants in Israel and Buenos Aires, McBagguetts in France and in the Middle East you can dine at McArabia pita styled sandwiches.
