21 Arrested In Fake Marriage For Immigration Scheme
21 people have been arrested in a fake marriage for immigration scheme, including 12 from Central Florida.
Authorities say the organization arranged marriages between U.S. Citizens and foreigners wanting a U.S. permanent Resident Card, also known as a Green Card.
Authorities also arrested participants in New York, Denver, Kansas City, New Orleans and Charleston, S.C. in an operation dubbed "Knot so fast".
If convicted, each faces up to five years in federal prison.
