Israeli Prime Minister went on television and made a passionate plea to American voters to the election a president that will help Israel draw a “red line” in the sand against Iran and its nuclear program.

Netanyahu has been frustrated with the Obama Administration which as refused to endorse Israeli politics or a military stance yet, saying there is still time and wants sanctions to take hold.

In his speech, he compared Iran’s nuclear program to Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh and reminding Americans of the devastating repercussions of failed intelligence hoping it would evoke an emotional response in American’s as they head to the polls in just over 50 days.

Netanyahu said he does not want to inject himself into U.S. politics, but said he has few alternatives in dealing with Iran.

Netanyahu is seen by many to be hawkish, itching for a war and eager to attack Iran’s nuclear technology.

The U.S., Europe, and the U.N. all have imposed sanctions against Iran for what they believe is Iranian nuclear weapons plans, though Iran has disputed this saying it is solely for peaceful nuclear energy and that they have the right to proceed with that under the nuclear non-proliferation treaty.
