United Airlines is moving ahead with the installation of WiFi for passengers that began this past June on-air Airbus A319. The airline is equipping new airplanes it is receiving with Wifi and is beginning to retrofit existing aircraft with the service.

United will be being to install Wifi on its Boeing fleet at the start of 2013 according to a United press release.

This is all part of a $500 million product investment, which United is in need of to overcome nagging complaints from passengers that the United half of the fleet that became one in the recent merger is quickly becoming old and dirty.

Other airlines such as Delta is far ahead of United with in-flight Wifi for passengers.
