Another alligator has turned up in the Pathmark grocery store parking lot in Baldwin, N.Y., the second in two days.

Wednesday a second alligator was discovered strolling across the store’s parking lot, this one 4 feet long, and officials said they don’t know where it came from and are concerned for public safety.

“We can’t just have wild or pet alligators meandering around as they please in public,” said Vickie Strohes, a witness to one of the spottings.

Both this one and the one caught the day before have been caught by the Nassau County Emergency Services Unit who said the alligators will be taken to a reptile marine sanctuary in Florida.
