Whole Foods has issued a recall of the Crave Brothers Les frères cheese it sells in stores across the country after it was discovered there was contamination of dangerous listeria monocytogenes bacteria.

The cheese is made by Crave Brothers Farmstead Cheese in Wisconsin where the FDA discovered a link between it and outbreaks in several states.

According to reports, outbreaks have been identified in Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana and Ohio with several people being hospitalized and at least one woman suffered a miscarriage after becoming ill from eating the contaminated cheese.

Whole Foods has asked customers who bought the cheese to throw it away and return to Whole Foods with their receipt for a refund.
