Major League Baseball is preparing to release the names of the players suspended for involvement in a performance-enhancing drug scandal. The most prominent player to be affected is New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez.

Rodriguez could face a lifetime suspension for violating the “integrity of the game policy.” Rodriguez did confirm the use of performance-enhancing drugs when he was with the Texas Rangers during the 2001-2003 seasons but never after that.

A lawyer representing Rodriguez who is the highest paid player in baseball said he would challenge any suspension.
