The new Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Orlando has announced it will open on November 6.  The center is still under construction, with the area directly west of the building still being completed and Orange Ave remains closed for now.

The center has already started announcing performances, with Jazz Roots: Georgia On My Mind on November 20th, Phantom of the Opera, Book of Mormon, Kevin James and Alton Brown; Live listed over the next couple months.
