Samsung has announced the Galaxy Note 4 today and it is bringing some excellent new features. The Note 4 will be available in pink, gold, black white and feature 4 different types of cases including the S view Cover, Flip Wallet, S View Wallet, and an LED cover.
The Note 4 comes with an impressive 5.7-inch Quad HD AMOLED display at a whopping 2560×1440 resolution. The Note 4 also is running a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor and will be featuring 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a micro SD slot, and a 3220mAh battery and weighing in at 176g.
The cameras allow for brighter pictures on both the front and back with a 16MP back camera with smart OIS and a 3.7MP front camera with F1.9. Samsung also stated that the front camera’s viewing angle is increasing from 77 to over 90 degrees and they have included a feature for a wide-picture mode from the front camera that can stretch to 120 degrees.
The Note 4 includes fast charging which allows for charging from 0% to 50% in a mere 30 minutes which is comparable to about 55 minutes from previous models. Three simultaneous microphones are used in the advanced voice recorder to allow for better sound capturing in a group situation and better noise cancellation.
There are some other features that have been put into the system which includes a new user interface, which is similar to the Galaxy S5 user experience.
A few new features include the weather widget being transparent to allow for the home screen background to show through and still allow the user to enjoy their wallpaper, as well as customizing the lock screen background in a way that it is dynamic and can host multiple backgrounds depending on where you are and what you’re doing. Samsung also stated that they changed the Multi-Window to allow access to it with recent app key.
The Galaxy Note 4 is going to be available in October.
