The Nexus 9 tablet, made by HTC, has been announced and will become available for pre-order starting on October 17th at $399 for the 16GB model and $479 for the 32GB model. If you are looking to get an LTE connected Nexus 9, you’ll add a few hundred dollars more to a whopping $699 for the 32GB LTE connected model.

Features on the device are an 8.9-inch 2048 x 1440 LCD display at a 4:3 ratio. Under the hood, we see 2GB of RAM, the 16 and 32GB variants and a 64-bit NVIDIA Tegra K1 dual-core processor running Google’s latest Android 5.0 Lollipop.

HTC’s Nexus 9 has an 8MP rear camera with LED flash along with a 1.6MP camera on the front of the device. HTC also included their signature BoomSound stereo front-facing speakers allowing excellent sound from your device.

The design has a soft-touch plastic to make the device more “grippy” along with the aluminum sides.
