A substitute teacher for Osceola County has been arrested and faces multiple charges of sexual battery.
St. Cloud Police officers arrested Sara B. Moore, 35, she is being charged with 10 counts of sexual battery by custodian victim, 12 to 18 years of age.
The victim told police that they had the sexual encounters at Moore’s residence where she lives with her husband and children.
Police say at this time there is only one victim but are continuing to investigate to see if there are others.
The victim reported the abuse to their parents who told police. It is unclear if the victim was a student of Moore’s.
Moore was a substitute health teacher at St. Cloud High School.
Moore is being held without bond in the Osceola County Jail until she appears in front of a judge on Monday.
If released from jail, Moore will not be allowed to have contact with any students while her criminal case is pending.
