An Orlando area woman trying to avoid being pulled over for a suspended license faces more serious charges after being involved in a deadly crash on Sunday.
Syndia Saint Cyr, 27, was driving with a revoked license when she struck Cody Garrick 23. The crash occurred at the intersection of Americana Boulevard and John Young Parkway in Orlando.
Garrick had just finished his first night as a pizza delivery driver when the accident happened.
Saint Cyr had just run a red light and was trying to flee from a deputy who caught her speeding.
The crash left Garrick dead. He leaves behind a 2-year-old daughter.
Saint Cyr faces charges of vehicular homicide, Fleeing and eluding law enforcement, and driving with a revoked license.
