Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Hillary Clinton are the big winners in the sunshine state after primary elections on Tuesday.

Trump took 45.8% of the vote earning him the state 99 Republican delegates. Junior Senator Marco Rubio was in second place with 27%.

After the election results came out, Rubio announced that he would withdraw his bid for the Republican nomination. The only county that Rubio won was his home county of Miami-Dade.

In his announcement, Rubio congratulated Trump on his win.

On the Democratic side, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton took home 64.5% with Senator Bernie Sanders obtaining 33.3%.
