Airline Baggage Handler Arrested For Stealing $20,000 From Federal Reserve Shipment
Airline baggage handler Alex Price, (25), has been arrested for allegedly stealing $20,000 from a federal reserve shipment of new cash.
The money was discovered missing by the armored truck service while being unloaded from the plane to the truck. One of the packages had been opened and after counting, $20,000 in new $100 bills were missing.
According to the FBI, they interviewed several people who might have had access to the shipment that was going from the federal reserve office in Dallas to the East Rutherford, NJ federal reserve bank.
