Anchorage, AK –
A single-engine, turboprop Cessna 208 plane crashed near a remote village in the southwest portion of Alaska killing four of the 10 people on board Friday night.
The flight was reported missing at 7:00 pm and found at 8:30 pm. An emergency locator beacon helped officials find the crash site.
The plane owned by Hageland Air was coming from Bethel and heading to Saint Mary’s. It is not known why the plane crashed.
The dead have been identified as pilot Terry Hansen, Rose Polty and Richard Polty and an infant, Wyatt Coffee.
