Mitt Romney's New iPhone App Misspells "America"

As republican candidate Mitt Romney secures his party's nomination last night with a win in Texas, his campaign released a new iPhone app, "I'm With Mitt", and the theme was "A Better Amercia", ...with America being spelled wrong.

A campaign spokesperson said mistake happen, but it was too late, the spelling error had gone viral across the internet with tweets and blogs seizing on the mistake, along with democrats hoping to poke fun at the mistake.

Marriages Lasting Less Time Than Car Loans In America

A new government report shows the institution of marriage in America is becoming less of a priority, and in 15% of marriages, they last less than the average term of a new car loan.

According to the report, 50% of marriages do not last more than 20 years, and America has the highest divorce rate of any wealthy country.

Dr. Andrew Cherlin, a sociologist at Johns Hopkins University and author of "The Marriage-Go-Round: The State of Marriage and the Family in America Today" tried to explain the situation in the country.

All 160 F-22 Raptor Stealth Fighter Jets To Return to the Skies Again, Stealth Plane Was Grounded in May

The F-22 Raptor, American's newest stealth fighter jet will be returning to the skies soon, ready to fly sorties and take on its role.

The fleet was grounded in May over a problem involving 12 separate incidents with oxygen generators not working and pilots experiencing "hypoxia-like symptoms".

After studying the problem extensively and after the entire fleet completes "extensive inspection of the life support systems," the U.S. Air Force will begin a "comprehensive incremental return-to-fly plan".

There is hardly anyone in the U.S. who was not somehow affected by the horrible events of the 9/11 terror attacks, either by the loss of a loved one, friend, or colleague, or by knowing someone who lost someone, or by the images of the twin towers being seared into our brains as they were hit and fell.  Not to mention the resulting aftermath of confusion and dramatic disruption to business and travel in the following days and weeks.
