Charred Human Remains Found At Abandoned House Fire Off Beggs Rd And Hiawassee

Orange County Firefighters were called to a fire of an abandoned house at 7466 Radiant Circle and unexpectedly discovered the burnt remains of a human body inside of a car which was parked inside the garage.

Officials have turned the investigation over to homicide detectives with Orange County who said they believed foul play was involved.

The body was burnt beyond recognition.

Jesse Davis Has Pleaded Guilty To The Cady Way Killings Of Nicholas Presha And Jeremy Stewart

Orlando, Fla. -

Jesse Davis, One of the main suspects int he Cady Way Trail murders of Winter Park High School students Nicholas Presha And Jeremy Stewart has pleaded guilty.

Police arrested Davis as well as Hector Rodriguez for the murders of Nicholas Presha And Jeremy Stewart who were apparently involved with stolen guns and had been trying to sell them to the suspects. Until then, nether had been suspected of being involved with drugs or crime according to accounts by friends.

Colorado Wildfires Have Become A Killer, Fire Possibly Started By Arsonist

Colorado Springs, CO -

The Waldo Canyon Fire has become a killer as emergency crews found the remains of at least one human, possibly more in one of the burned areas of the fire as it encroaches on densly populated Colorado Springs.

As many as 32,000 people have been evactuated, though some have since been allowed to return. Fire officials say they have about 15% of the fire contained and expect full containment by July 16.

Using a more accurate mapping system, fire officials say the fire has conumed 16,750 acres, which is less than what was believed yesterday.

Boynton Beach Man Accussed of Setting Woman On Fire

Boynton Beach, Fla. -

A man has been arrested for allegedly setting a woman on fire in Boynton Beach according to police. Though not yet identified, he is accused of pouring gasoline on the 40 year old woman and setting her on fire at the 7-Eleven gas station along Hypoluxo Road and Lawrence Road.

When emergency crews arrived they reported she was fully engulfed in flames. Her flames were extinguished and transported to the hospital and is in critical condition.

Brush Fire In Palm Bay Ignites Propane Tank And House Fire

Palm Bay, Fla. -

Firefighters are investigating how a brush fire was started that eventually ignited a propane tank and a house fire near West Oaks Park on Lamplighter Drive in Palm Bay.

The house suffered major damage with the fire spreading into other parts of the house and attic, however there were no injuries reported.

Harry Burkhart Arrested For Los Angeles Arson Spree

Los Angeles, CA -

24 year old Harry Burkhart of Germany has been arrested and is suspected of being responsible for at least one of the 52 arson fires that have been lit in a rash of fires in the LA area recently because his mother, Durothee Burkhart had been arrested on a warrant from Germany.

Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa said he will likely face more charges as the investigation moves forward.

$60,000 Reward For Arsonist Responsible for 21 Fires In Hollywood Area

Law enforcement have issued a $60,000 reward hoping the public will help to catch an arsonist they say is responsible for 21 fires in the Hollywood area, mostly set in rapid succession in parked cars.

In nearly ever fire, it was started in a parked car beginning Friday morning. None of the arson fires have occurred elsewhere in the Los Angeles area.

The home of Jim Morrison of The Doors was also burned. Seventeen fires were set in Hollywood; four others in West Hollywood -- all of them within a 2-square mile area.

Domino's Pizza Managers Burn Down Papa John's Pizza in Attempt to Get More Customers in Florida

Lake City, Fla. -

Sean Everett Davidson, 23, and Bryan David Sullivan, 22, were two up and coming Domino's Pizza store managers in Lake City Florida who apparently decided on a new way to get more customers from the rival Papa John's Pizza store. So they took action and burned the Papa John's down October 20th.

Both men have been charged with arson and were arrested and taken to jail.

Police still have not found the ignition source and the state fire marshal is now investigating.

2 Fires in Same Wynwood Warehouse Suspected of Being Arson

Miami, Fla. -

two separate fires raged through the same warehouse in the Wynwood area of Miami and are suspected of being the work of arsonist. The warehouse is located at 31 NW 29th St. Fire crews responded to the first fire which happened Sunday evening, then again Monday morning.

The warehouse was used at one time to house restaurant equipment, and the owner of the place was summoned to the scene after the second fire.

5 Suspects Arrested for Arson Attack in Mexico that Killed 52

Monterrey, Mexico-

Governor Rodrigo Medina of Nuevo Leon, the Mexican state where Monterrey is located, has said that police have detained 5 suspects in the brutal arson attack at the Casino Royale last Thursday which killed 52 gamblers and employees. Police are investigating the motives behind the attack, including the possibility that it was a retaliation for the refusal to pay extortion money.

The Governor stated that police are not yet sure which group is behind the attacks, but they are looking for two more suspects.
