The Nook by Barnes & Noble

I received a phone call from my local Barnes & Noble last night letting me know they have received the new Nook Tablet, ahead of schedule and that I could come down and play with one and buy it if I wished. So I did just that, wondering how it would compare to the Amazon's new Kindle Fire. I visited the one on Colonial Drive.
As usual when I walked into the Barnes & Noble (BN), I was nicely greeted by the Nook counter which sits front and center at most BN's that I've visited across the country. After the clerk finished up with the customer ahead of me, I was next.
