Nelson Mandela Hospitalized For Lung Infection; 2nd Time In Just Weeks

Former South African president 94-year-old Nelson Mandela has been admitted to the hospital due to a lung infection according to the South African President's office.

"We appeal to the people of South Africa and the world to pray for our beloved Madiba and his family and to keep them in their thoughts. We have full confidence in the medical team and know that they will do everything possible to ensure recovery," South African President Jacob Zuma said in the statement.

Doctors say the infection is due in part to his advanced age.

Federal Court Rules Florida Can't Charge Out-Of-State Tuition To Children Of Illegal Immigrants

U.S. District Judge K. Michael Moore has ruled in the Miami Federal Court that a Florida ruled used to charge U.S. citizens who are children of illegal immigrants non-resident tuition fees are unconstitutional.

A lawsuit brought by the Southern Poverty Law Center representing students who are U.S. citizens but whose parents are illegan immigrants was filed against Florida's Education Department chellenging the rule state colleges have been using.

The FBI Is Looking For Your Tattoo's

The FBI recently put out a request for information, RFI, to police departments nationwide, along with vendors and other security and industry professionals asking them to submit pictures of anyone they have encountered that has a tattoo.

The request is part of the FBI's program already underway to catalog biometric information on as m any people as possible and will be added to its iris and facial recognition database along with existing fingerprint.

A new app for Android smartphones has come out that will allow you to secretly record your encounter with police, and it will send the recording to the ACLU, ensuring police do not tamper or delete the recording. The app is called Police Tape, and is available for download in the Google Play market for Android phones, it is made by the ACLU of New Jersey, and an iPhone version is coming soon.

Former Rutgers Student Dharun Ravi Convicted In Web Cam Spying of Gay Roommate Who Committed Suicide

Former Rutgers student Dharun Ravi was convicted today on 15 counts involving using a web cam to spy on Tyler Clementi, his gay room mate, who eventually killed himself by jumping off a bridge.

Among the charges he was convicted of were anti-gay intimidation and invasion of privacy.
