Americans Switch to Credit Unions, Sick of Big Banks

Since Sept 29th, 1.2 million Americans have switched to credit unions, and 600,000 have switched to community banks. This is the result of people being fed up with big banks and the long list of fees, many of which have been coined "silent fees," those not readily visible until after a customer has inadvertently crossed the threshold.

Estimates have put Bank of America and Wells Fargo as the biggest losers as customers switch in the masses. But Chase, SunTrust, Regions and others have also lost significant amounts of customers.
