Batman Fights Crime And Took A Wanted Man Into Police Custody; NO JOKE

London, U.K.

A man dressed as batman, complete with cape and mask, was recorded by surveillance cameras bringing a wanted man into a local police station in London.

The incident happened earlier today in Britain and officials say they honestly have no clue who the man dressed as batman was.

A spokesperson for the police commissioner said Batman was polite, and turned the man with a warrant over to police custody and disappeared.

New FBI Statistics Show National Murder Rate Down, Violent Crimes Up

Washington, D.C. -

According to new FBI statistics, the national murder rate was down 1.7% and rape was down 1.4%, however the overall violent crime rate was up 1.9% and property crimes were up 1.5% for the first half of 2012 compared to 2011.

The southeast region of the U.S. saw a 1.1% increase in violent crime compared to the national average, 3.1% in the west, 2.5% in the midwest, and 1.1% in the northeast.

Burglary, larceny and motor vehicle thefts lead the increase in property crimes.

20 Dead Including 10 Children In Newton Connecticut Elementary School Shooting

The gunman who killed 28 people including 20 children at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newton Connecticut is dead as well. The school with about 600 students with Connecticut State Police are still on the scene investigating.

The gunman has been identified as 20 year old Adam Lanza. Lanzas mother Nancy Lanza taught at the school.

At 9:35 am this morning Lanza went into the school and shot a reported 100 rounds. Officers were able to escort the remaining students safely out the campus to the safety of anxious parents.

Man Shot Dead Outside Eatonville Bar Last Night

Eatonville, Fla. -

Eatonville police are reporting that a man was shot and killed after an arguement outside of Neats Bar and Grill on Kennedey Blvd in Eatonvile. The victim was in his 20's, but police have not released his identity yet.

Police have not made any arrest yes and are asking that anyone with information call Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS.

Boynton Beach Man Accussed of Setting Woman On Fire

Boynton Beach, Fla. -

A man has been arrested for allegedly setting a woman on fire in Boynton Beach according to police. Though not yet identified, he is accused of pouring gasoline on the 40 year old woman and setting her on fire at the 7-Eleven gas station along Hypoluxo Road and Lawrence Road.

When emergency crews arrived they reported she was fully engulfed in flames. Her flames were extinguished and transported to the hospital and is in critical condition.

Ocoee McDonald's Robbed, Employee Pistol Whipped

Ocoee, Fla.

Overnight last night, at about 3:00am, the McDonald's near Colonial Drive and McGuire Road was robbed. Police have identified 23 year old Marco Romulus Simplice as one of the two masked robbers.

During the incident, an employee was pistol whipped and the manager was forced to open the safe at gunpoint. They drove off in a silver Chrysler which was abandoned nearby as they robbers traded vehicles according to police.

Police chased the suspects who eventually crashed a fence on St. Lawrence Street. A K-9 unit tracked Simplice to a hiding spot nearby under a bush.

Judge Grants George Zimmerman New Bond Hearing After It Was Revoked A Week Ago

George Zimmerman will have a new bond hearing on June 29, 2012. Zimmerman's bond had been revoked by Judge Kenneth Lester after a hearing in which prosecutors argued that Zimmerman and his wife mislead the court as to their finances by not disclosing the $204,000 their personal website had raised in donations, instead calling himself indigent.

Man Steals Car With Baby Still In It Sleeping

St Petersburg, Fla. -

Police in Saint Petersburg are reporting that a man stole a car while a baby was still in it asleep. The incident happened when 21-year-old Jessyca Broom and 23-year-old Brandon Duff were looking at a house to rent and decided to leave their one year old in the car during the short inspection buckled into her car seat in the backseat.

Orlando Police Officer Run Over With Car Driven By Emily Cox After Altercation Inside Roxy's Nightclub

Orlando, Fla. -

Orlando Police Officer Sergio Ramos was ran over by a car driven by Emily Cox after she and two other females were told to leave Roxy's Nightclub last night at about 2:00 a.m.

Witnesses say that after three women were told to leave the nightclub following an altercation, two of the females left the club and were walking to their car when Emily Cox attempted to run them over. That's when Officer Sergio intervened and tried to get Cox to stop. He eventually fired his gun and shot Cox who then ran over Officer Sergio.

Accused Killer Of Seminole County Firefighter Jerry Perdomo Heads To Court Today

Daniel Porter, the man accused of killing Seminole County Firefighter Jerry Perdomo in February, will be arraigned in court today in Waldo County Superior Court in Belfast, Maine. Porter is accused of shooting Perdomo over a drug debt.

According to investigators, Perdomo, who is married and lives in Orange City Florida, had been making monthly drug runs to Maine where he would stay with his mistress, and on his last trip, took along a handgun intending to make Porter pay up for drugs Perdomo had previously supplied him.
