Delaware Doctor Accused Of Waterboarding His 11-year-old Daughter

Dr. Melvin Morse, a 58-year-old pediatrician, and his wife Pauline, 40, both of Delaware, have been arrested and accused of waterboarding their 11-year-old daughter four time over a two year period between May 2009 and May 2011 according to Cpl. Gary Fournier of the Delaware State Police.

Morse has an apparent history of child abuse when he pulled his daughter out of a car and dragged her across a gravel driveway in July, and that is when Delaware's Child Advocacy Center first learned of Morse said officials.

Supreme Court Upholds Obama's Healthcare Law In Surprise Swing Vote By Chief Justice Roberts

In a ruling that is sure to continue debates across the country, the U.S. Supreme Court has upheld Obama's healthcare law, with Chief Justice John Roberts providing the surprise swing vote in a 5-4 decision. The courts four liberal justices were joined by Roberts in upholding the heart of the law, allowing the government to impose a fine on those who do not purchase health insurance.

Protestors and supports of the law being decided by the Supreme Court were out in force in front of the Supreme Court chanting back and forth what they believe is right.

Virginia Lawsuit Challenging Healthcare Mandate Dismissed by 4th US Circuit Court of Appeals

The 4th U.S.Circuit Court of Appeals has ordered the lower court that originally heard the case and ruled the healthcare mandate law unconstitutional to dismiss the case for lack of jurisdiction.

Virginia argued that since it has a state law covering healthcare, that gave them the right to challenge the law in federal court, however that argument failed. There are several cases across the country challenging the federal healthcare mandate law in various ways and it has become a highly charged case.
