Drunk Pennsylvania Woman Jumps Into Swollen River To Save Ducks
Rescue officials had to save a Glen Rock, PA woman, Justina Laniewski, after she jumped into a river, that was swollen by Hurricane Sandy, to save two ducks. Police say she was drunk.
After leaping into the river, her 4-year-old son tried to follow but neighbors stopped him.
Police have charged the woman with reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
According to police her blood alcohol was twice the legal driving limit.
Laniewski denies she tried to save tow ducks saying instead she slipped on some rocks and fell into the neck deep rushing water.
