30 Countries Part of Delhi Declaration Opposing EU Carbon Tax Including U.S., Russia and China; Threaten Retaliation

30 countries, including India, the United State, China and Russia have joined the Delhi Declaration opposing the new EU Carbon Emissions Tax scheme and also say it violates provisions of the Chicago Convention, which governs international civil aviation, and the World Trade Organization, with various delegates pointing out the scheme was also discriminatorily applied to carriers. They also warned of retaliatory trade actions against the EU.
