Former Florida Governor Charlie Christ Tweets He Is Now A Democrat

Former Florida Governor Charlie Christ tweeted on a Friday that he has officially joined the Democratic Party. The tweet included a photo of the Christ holding a voter registration form which he will use to change his registration.

Christ was Florida’s last governor from 2007 to 2011 as a Republican. Upon the end of his first term Christ attempted to run for US Senate as an Independent. Christ lost to Republican Marco Rubio.

Upon existing politics he Christ joined famed law firm Morgan and Morgan out of Tampa

Florida Republicans have spoken and Mitt Romney is winner of all 50 republican deligates in the sunshine state. "Thank you guys. Thank you to the people in this room and the people all over Florida for this great victory!" declared Romney in Tampa. Response from New Gingrich was about the contest was "a two-person race between a true conservative and a Massachusetts moderate." Republican turnout was estimated at 35% with more than 665,000 voters casting early or absentee.
