France Is Trying To Buy Unmanned Drone Aircraft From U.S. Or Israel
France's defense minister, Defence Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian, has confirmed that France has begun talks with the United States and Israel in an effort to buy unmanned drone aircraft as part of its war fighting capabilities.
The move comes after France learned during its military action into Mali that is has fallen behind in military capability and had to rely on the U.S. for transportation and intelligence.
