YouTube Announces It Will Start Charging To Watch Content

YouTube has announced that it will begin charging a subscription fee to watch some content on the popular streaming video website, which is owned by Google.

Under the plan, viewers will pay about .99 cents to subscribe to one channel each month, YouTube will be offering 53 channels.

YouTube has said it will have a wide variety of channel to choose from, but would not give specifics. One show that is known to be part of the plan is Sesame Street.

Google has lunched its 'Same Day Delivery' service in parts of San Francisco, allowing consumers to order from retailers like Target, Walgreens, Staples, American Eagle, Toys R Us, plus local retailers such as Nob Hill Foods and Alto Toy & Sport.

In its ever growing reach, Google has decided to test out a new service it is offering, free for six months, that allows you to make purchases and have them delivered the same day, often within hours and says it wants to be able to help customers buy at average or discounted prices.

Google Announces Its New Chromebook For Everyone At $249

Google has announced that its new Chromebook is now available for pre-order from Amazon, Best Buy and some other retailers.

The new Chromebook is just .8" inches think, and claims to run for hours on a single charge and Google says its "the computer for everyone".

It will come with ARM Cortex-A15 processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of flash storage, but no massive onboard hard drive.

Apple Confirms YouTube App Will Not Be Included On New iOS For iPhone and iPad

Apple recently confirmed that YouTube will no longer be included on its new iOS for iPhones and iPads saying "our license to include the YouTube app in iOS has ended." Until now, Apple had paid Google, the owner of YouTube, a license fee to put the app on its iPhones.

Apple did say that Google is now working on a new YouTube app to be available in Apple's App Store but gave no details about if it will be available in time for the newest iPhone, slated to be launched in September.

Apple said users can use their Safari browser and watch YouTube that way.

Google Announced Nexus 7 Tablet At I/O; Says Its For Sale Now

Google has announced at its I/O that the new Nexus 7 is ready for sale now, as expected. Customers can buy it now on Google Play and it will ship starting mid July. Including in the deal is a $25 credit for purchases in the Google Play store, Google's version of Apple's "App Store".

The 7-inch-screen tablet will run Google's latest Android OS, Jelly Bean, and will feature a 1,280-by-800 pixel high-definition screen. Google said the Nexus 7's video "looks stunning."

In a twice a year Transparency Report, Google reported that it received more than 1,000 requests from government authorities and others, to remove a record breaking amount of information, data, search results and YouTube content from search listings and from its related content providers like YouTube.

Requests have come from courts, police, government agencies and citizens from Canada, the U.S., Spain, Germany, and several more "free" countries that officially say they are against censorship.

Warren Buffet Says he Wont Invest In Apple or Google Calling Them Too Risky To Predict Long Term

Warren Buffet was recently quoted as saying during Berkshire Hathaway’s annual meeting that he has no intentions of buying either Apple of Google stock saying saying they are too hard to predict long term.

“We couldn’t predict what would happen to Apple 10 years ago and we can’t predict what will happen to it 10 years from now,” Buffett said.

Buffent wen on to say that he does not see either being "inevistable" winners, but said that is part because he does not know enough about them.
