Apopka Man Shot While Taking Out The Trash

Apopka, Fla. -

An Apopka man was shot while taking his trash out to the curb last night. Deputies say the victim reports seeing four black males walking through the neighborhood when a van pulled up behind them and started shooting.

The shooting continued after the man was shot, with bullets hitting nearby homes and cars according to the sheriff's department.

The victim was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center.

So far, police believe the man taking out his trash was an unintended target that was caught up in the incident.

Police ID Driver That Was Shot To Death On I-95 After Waffle House Dispute

Fort Lauderdale, Fla. -

The Broward County Sheriff's Dept. has identified that man that was shot to death Sunday on I-94 as that of 33-year-old Nicholas Walker. He was shot while driving towards Commercial Blvd on I-95 following a dispute at a Waffle House between him and another person.

Walker was shot and then crashed into a guardrail which caused his care to erupt in flames.

Emergency crews arrived on the scene to discover Walker, already dead.

One Dead After Shooting At Baby Shower At North Miami Community Center

North Miami, Fla. -

One man is dead after a shooting during a baby shower at the Gwen Margolis Community Center in North Miami. Police report the victim was a male in his early 20's. The incident happened Sunday evening around 8:30pm according to police.

Police are investigating the scene and briefly detained members of the party for questioning at the scene.

So far, police have not made an arrest and have not released the name of the victim.

Shots Fired At Houston Airport, Police Find Dead Body At Terminal B

Houston, TX -

There has been a shooting at Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport, IAH, just outside terminal B security checkpoint.

An unknown man with a AR-15 assault rifle was spotted by an Air Marshal and fired two shots into the air and was then shot at by the Air Marshal, but missed. He then took his own life by shooting himself with yet another pistol.

School Shooting In Cincinnati, Ohio Ends With One Hurt, One Arrested

Cincinnati, Ohio

Police in Cincinnati have arrested an alleged gunman after he opened fire at La Salle High School, injuring at least one.

After the arrest, Hamilton County Sheriff's spokesman Jim Knapp said the "treat is over".

Knapp refused to comment as to who the suspect is, or if he is a student at the school.

Texas Police Arrest Wife Of Ex-Judge In Murders Of Texas Prosecutors

Houston, TX -

Police in Kaufman county have arrested Kim Lene Williams for the shooting murders of Kaufman County DA Mark Hasse and DA Mike McLelland and his wife which happened last month.

Kim Lene Williams is the wife of ex-judge Eric Lyle Williams who was removed from his position and prosecuted last year by Hasse and McLelland for computer theft. He was found guilty.

Eric Williams was arrested again on Saturday and charged with making terroristic threats and remains in jail on a $3 million bond. His wife, Kim, remains in jail on a $10 million bond.

Shooting/Stabbing Ends With 1 Dead, 2 Injured In Miami Gardens

Miami Gardens, Fla. -

Police have reported that 1 man is dead and 2 more injured follwoing a shooting and knife attack on NW 29th Avenue, in the 15000 block.

Two people were taken to the hospital, with one of them arriving at the Ryder Trauma Center with multiple stab wounds.

The identities have not been released of the person shot or the two stabbed.

Henry Gonzalez Galay Arrested On Manslaughter Charges In Kisismmee Shell Gas Station Shooting

Kissimmee, Fla. -

Police have arrested 20-year-old Henry Gonzalez Galay and charged him with manslaughter in the shooting death of 25-year-old Henry Ortiz Reyes.

According to police, Galay and his sister Maria Galay along with Reyes were at the Shell gas station at 2201 West Columbia Avenue when Reyes found a gun in a book bag.

Galay claimed that he tried to take the gun away from Reyes and put his finger over the trigger but instead, accidentally grabbed the trigger and the gun went off hitting Reyes.

Palm Bay Police Looking For Armed Suspect

UPDATED: Police have arrested John Kitchen and charged him with aggravated assault with a firearm. Police had been searching for him for nearly 8 hours.

Palm Bay, Fla. -

Police in Palm Bay say they are looking for a suspect that pulled on a gun on an officer while attempting to do a routine traffic stop.

The incident happened near the intersection of San Filippo Drive and Wyoming Drive, when officers tried to pull the man over. That's when they say he pointed or waived a gun at the officer and then took off.
