Europe Closer To Adding Hezbollah To List Of Terrorist Organizations

The E.U. is moving closer to listing Hezbollah as a terrorist organization after France began pushing to add the group's militant wing to the list. Britain and Germany both said they would support such a move as well.

France has historically been reluctant to add the group because it feared destabilizing the Mid-East and its former colonial territory of Lebanon, where Hezbollah is based.

But recently Hezbollah has openly declared support for the Syrian government lead by Bashar al-Assad and began providing armed personal to join the fight in Syria.

Iran Executes Alleged U.S. And Israeli Spies

Iran has claimed that it has executed spies that were working for the CIA and the Israeli spy agency Mossad.

State media reports that Mohammad Heidari was accused of working with the Mossad and Kourosh Ahmadi was working with the CIA. Both were executing by hanging reportedly.

There has been no official verification of this, but Iran routinely "executes" spies who say are working to undermine its nuclear technology.

No dates were given as to when either men were executed or when they were arrested and put on trial.

France Is Trying To Buy Unmanned Drone Aircraft From U.S. Or Israel

France's defense minister, Defence Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian, has confirmed that France has begun talks with the United States and Israel in an effort to buy unmanned drone aircraft as part of its war fighting capabilities.

The move comes after France learned during its military action into Mali that is has fallen behind in military capability and had to rely on the U.S. for transportation and intelligence.

Egyptian Police Block Israeli Border Crossing

Egyptian police have blocked the Nitzana border crossing with Israel, al-Awja as it is known in Egypt, after Islamist kidnap seven Egyptian police in the Sinai Peninsula.

This is the second border crossing, the first was Rafah, by Egyptian police who are protesting the kidnapping of fellow policemen in Egypt's Sinai Peninsula and the government's lack of efforts to get their fellow officers back safely and to stop the kidnappings.

Syria Threatens Israel After IAF Strike Saying "All The Options" Are Open

Jerusalem, Israel -

Following the two Israeli IAF airstrikes on Syrian chemical weapons facilities, Syria's leader, Bashar al-Assad, has said that "all the options" are open raising concerns that the Syrian civil war could spill over into Israel.

According to reports, Assad held a security cabinet meeting following the second strike by Israel's IAF which targeted Syria's Fateh-110 missiles, which are precision guided missiles and chemical weapons facilities.

The Syrian Foreign Ministry said the attack proved that Israel is collaborating with Syrian rebels.

Israel Launches Airstrike Against Syria Friday

U.S. Officials are indicating that Israel may have launched an air strike into Syria late Friday. Leaders in Israel have long said they would strike at any targets that prove to be the transfer of any kinds of weapons to Hezbollah or other terrorist groups.

Syria says they have no knowledge of any attacks. The Israeli government officially has no comment on the situation. Top U.S. leaders deferred all questions to Israel

Israeli Jets Bomb Syrian Chemical Weapons Facility

Jerusalem, Israel -

The Israeli Air Force has bombed a Syrian Chemical Weapons facility outside Damascus on Saturday according to reports by the Free Syrian Army, FSA.

The planes were spotted entering Syrian airspace early Saturday morning and flew over Assad's palace and onto a known chemical weapons facility outside Damascus where they released bombs destroying much of the facility.

Video from FSA fighters on cell phones show smoke columns rising up at the facility.

Israeli Air Force Shoots Down Hezbollah Unmanned Drone Near Haifa

Jerusalem, Israel

The Israeli Air Force, IAF, has shot down an unmanned drone over the Mediterranean as it violated Israeli air space and approached the city of Haifa, which has about 1 million people within the metro area.

It is believed Hezbollah launched the drone, and officials say it originated in Lebanon, where Hezbollah operates largely unopposed by the Lebanese government.

This is the second time within the last seven months an unmanned drone violated Israeli air space.

Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad Unexpectedly Resigns

Jerusalem, Israel -

Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad has unexpectedly offered his resignation to PA president Mahmoud Abbas according to reports.

The move comes as the two men have had a long dispute over policy matters and governance.

Abbas will likely accept his resignation according to sources after eh returns to Ramallah late Thursday.

Turkey Opens Criminal Investigations On IDF Soldiers From 2010 Flotilla To Gaza

Turkey has launched criminal charges against four senior IDF officials related to the 2010 deaths aboard the Turkish ship MV Mavi Marmara in which nine people died, 8 Turkish nationals and one American. This comes after Israeli PM Netanyahu apologized to Turkish PM Tayyip Erdogan on March 22 after prodding by Barack Obama.

Following the apology, Erdogan said his conditions have been met to normalize relations with Israel, which were easing of the Gaza blockade, an apology and compensation to those who died on the ship.
