George Zimmerman's Website Earned $200,000; News Outlets In Court Trying To Get Court Files Unsealed

George Zimmerman's attorney Mark O'Mara has disclosed that the website for Zimmerman that had been set up has received $200,000 in donations before it was shut down this week.

O'Mara said he only learned of the donations recently in a conversation with his client, but after he recent bail hearing and released from the Seminole County Jail. The judge set Zimmerman's bail at $150,000.

Various news outlets will be in court today in an attempt to obtain sealed filed about the Zimmerman case, and O'Mara has said he plans to disclose the website donations at that time.

Judge Jessica Recksiedler Presiding Over Zimmerman Case May Recuse Herself

Circuit Court Judge Jessica Recksiedler may be forced to recuse herself in the Trial of George Zimmerman due a conflict of interest according to Zimmerman's new attorney Mark O'Mara.

During a short status hearing today at 1:15pm, O'Mara said he was considering filing a motion to have Judge Recksiedler removed. Judge Recksiedler's husband works for the NeJame law firm, the same firm that was contacted by the Zimmerman family for representing George Zimmerman before Mark NeJame eventually recommended Mark O'Mara.
