9/11 Memorial Tops 1 Million Visitors Since Opening 16 Weeks Ago In NYC

New York City -

The 9/11 Memorial in New York City has seen more than 1 million visitors since it opened 16 weeks ago. It opened to family of the victims on 9-11-2011 and the the public the following day.

The museum is still under construction and is planned to open on 9-11-2012.

Designed by architect Michael Arad, the memorial features two huge, square fountains that mark the footprints of the World Trade Center towers.
The fountains' water flows into granite reflecting pools at the center of the eight-acre, tree-lined plaza.

Ice Cream Sandwich Not Ready for Public Viewing; Smasung's Nexus Prime, Google's Galaxy Nexus Unvieling Postponed for CTIA

Customers wanting the Samsung Nexus Prime, which is also Google's Galaxy Nexus, will have to wait a little longer for their Ice Cream Sandwich. Ice Cream Sandwich is the latest Google OS coming out, and was to be released at the CTIA fall event but was suddenly postponed by both Samsung and Google who said it was not the right time.

The World Remembers 9/11, World Trade Center, Pentagon and Shanksville PA

Today marks the 10th anniversary of 9/11, and the world has taken a moment to rememeber.  Here's a list of countries that held or will be holding offical memorials.  67 of the world's 195 countries are involved.
