Mitt Romney BLIMP Makes Emergency Landing In Davie Florida

A blimp chartered by the Mitt Romney campaign was forced to make an emergency landing after it began deflating while en-route from Boca Raton to the North Perry Airport in Pembroke Pines.

It had been flying near Lynn University, the site of Monday night's (tonight) political debate between Barrack Obama and Mitt Romney.

Police say there were no injuries as the blimp came down in a neighborhood that has historically voted democrat.

Former Florida Republican governor Jeb Bush has come out to endorse Mitt Romney for the 2012 republican nomination to eventually compete against President Barack Obama in the general election in November.

Jeb Bush is the son of one former president and brother to another former president and the first of the powerful bush dynasty to endorse a candidate. “Congratulations to Governor Mitt Romney on his win last night and to all the candidates for a hard fought, thoughtful debate and primary season,” Bush said in a statement issued late Wednesday morning.

Mitt Romney Wins Northern Marianas Delegates Collecting 87% Of The Vote

Mitt Romney has won nine more delegates in the Northern Mariana Islands Presidential Preference Poll, and this follows his recent wins on Super Tuesday where he won 9 other states.

The Northern Mariana Islands are a U.S. Territory located on the other side of the International Date Line not far from Guam, and closer to the Philippines than the U.S. mainland, or about 8,200 miles from Washington D.C.

Job growth on the rise for the fifth month in a row

In what the white house hopes is a sign of good things to come Fridays report from the Labor Department showed a creation of 243,000 jobs since January. Unemployment dropped from 8.5 to 8.3 percent continuing a five month drop and making it the lowest level since February 2009. "There are still far too many Americans who need a job ... (but) the economy is growing stronger. The recovery is speeding up," Obama said to a crow in Virginia.

Donald Trump endorses Mitt Romney

Donald Trump in press conference in Las Vegas announced his official endorsement of Mitt Romney. These counters the rumors that have been circulating that Trump would be endorsing Newt Gingrich since the reality TV start made the announcement of a major announcement. “Mitt is tough, he's smart, he's sharp and he's not going to allow bad things to continue to happen to this country we all love,” Trump said. Romney had turned down an invitation earlier in the year to a Trump hosted debate that eventually was cancelled.

Romney and Full Sail connection raises concerns

Republican hopeful Mitt Romney is under the spotlight for his support of Florida’s Full Sail University. The Winter Park FL based multimedia for profit university costs far more than many traditional. At issue are the amount of mentions that the candidate has mentioned the school which has raised some eyebrows. The CEO of Full Sail James Haefner and his wife gave the maximum $25,000 and $45,000 to a Romney super-pack. When asked about his likening of Full Sail Romney advised that he has mentioned other for profit schools as well and not just singling out Full Sail.

Romeny takes lead in Florida primaries

According to a Quinnipiac University pole Mitt Romney currently is in the lead for the Florida republican nomination with 38% of the vote. Newt Gingrich is at 29%, followed by Ron Paul at 14% and Rick Santorum at 12%. The pole has sampling error of +/-4.1%. Days earlier the Gingrich was the front runner. Both Romney and Gingrich are currently in Florida continuing to stump for votes while Paul has conceded he will not win and has moved on to New Hampshire. The Florida primaries on Tuesday with an estimated 2 million voters.
