Libya Orders Investigation into Death of Gadhafi Despite Libyans Saying They Don't Care

Tripoli, Libya -

Libyan interim Prime Minister Mustafa Abdul-Jalil has ordered an independent investigation and formed a commission to look into the circumstances and death of former Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi. Several countries, including the U.S., have said only an independent and transparent investigation will give credibility to the new government of Libya.

Gadhafi's Death Spurs Increased Protests in Yemen and Syria as Arab Spring Continues, Era of the People

The fall and final death of Col. Moammar Gadhafi yesterday has stirred up strong protests in Yemen and Syria who said they support Libya and its people. The Arab Spring continues, as Mohammed al-Salami of Sanna went on to say this is "the era of the people."

In Yemen, 17 provinces along with the capital city of Sanna came out to protest against the county's embattled leader President Saleh.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton Arrives in Libya To Offer Money and Aid

Washington, D.C. -

Secretary of State HIllary Clinton became the first cabinet level high ranking American government official to visit Libya since the rebels of the National Transition Council, NTC, overthrew former leader Col. Moammar Gadhafi during the Arab Spring uprising that also occurred in Tunisia, Egypt, Yemen and Syria. Protests are still underway in Yemen and Syria.

Moammar Gadhafi In Hiding Addresses Libyan Nation Via Radio Vowing Martyrdom or Victory

The deposed Libyan leader who was chased from power by rebel forces took to the airwaves today vowing "martyrdom" or "victory."

A spokesperson for the Gadhafi regime also said "government" forces have detained four "high ranking Qataris and one Emirati's" according to Al Orouba TV.
