French Woman Received $15 Quadrillion Cell Phone Bill

Recently, Solenne San Jose received a phone bill for $15 Quadrillion dollars after canceling her mobile phone contract early. San Jose was told by her provider she would have an early termination fee added to her next bill, but did not question how much.

After receiving the bill, San Jose caller her wireless carrier (Bouygues) to dispute the bill and was charged another $12 bucks each time time she called and spoke to a representative.

Blackberry Maker RIM says Ex-Chief Leaving Board As Mobile Phone Maker Will Focus On Enterprise

The once popular Blackberry phone maker RIM announced its ex-chief Jim Balsillie was stepping down from the board as the mobile phone maker continues to struggle at turning around its fortunes. RIM's shares dropped 9% in after hours trading following the news, adding to that RIM said it will begin to focus on "enterprise" products and move away from consumer devices.

Wireless carriers build more towers to expand their coverage and try to stop dropped calls for lack of good coverage. Residents complain about cell phone towers popping up in their neighborhood.

Across the country, residents have went to court trying to stop wireless companies from building new towers in their backyards, and the result has been interesting structures some call art, some call nature and some call ugly.

Droid4 4G LTE Pics Leak Out

Newly leaked pictures of the new Droid4 have leaked out. The newest Android phone is a 4G LTE phone with a slideout QWERTY keyboard featuring a 1.2GHz dual core procesor with a 4 inch Super AMOLED Advanced screen, an 8MP camera along with a non-removable camera that is also capable of recording 1080p video.

It will use Android 2.3.5 (Gingerbread), and be slightly thicker than the newly released Droid Razr. However, the battery is suspected of being the weak point of the phone, being only a 1700mAh battery.

AT&T Says It will Bring 5,000 Well Paid Call Center Jobs to U.S. if Merger With T-mobile is Allowed

AT&T has said that it will bring 5,000 well paid and highly competitive call center jobs back to the U.S. if it is allowed to continue its buyout merger with T-Mobile. It also said it would not lay off anyone from its U.S. call centers and would let natural attrition reduce the workforce due to overlapping positions within a merged company. It's hoping to entice Obama officials who are keen to add or create jobs in a very weak economic recovery, and whose administration must approve or deny the merger deal.
