72nd Annual Bike Week Kicks Off In Daytona Beach

Bike week began on Friday touted as the “World’s Biggest Motorcycle Event” in Daytona Beach. The 10 day event is expected to bring over 500,000 people. This year marks the 72nd anniversary of the event in which motorcycle enthusiasts gather from all the over the world.

Bike week give people the opportunity to wear their leathers, shop, and mix with other bikers. Riders of both classic motorcycles like Harley-Davidsons and street bikes like Hondas come together.The event is expected to bring in millions of dollars to the area.

BMW Sued By San Francisco Man Who Claimed He Suffered Erection For 2 Years After Riding Motorcycle

Henry Wolf is suing BMW North America and Corbin-Pacific, Inc. and is claiming he suffered a 2 year erection, called priapism (a long lasting erection) after he rode a BMW motorcycle around San Francisco in May of 2010 for four hours.

In his lawsuit he specifically claimed that the 1993 BMW motorcycle was designed with a "ridged seat" which caused his unfortunate condition says his attorney, Vernon Bradley. The seat was made by Corbin-Pacific Inc.

Two fatal crashes during Daytona Beach Bike Week

As bike week in Daytona Beach ends two riders not be going home. This year there has been a total of 10 crashes two of which was fatal. The crash occurred Saturday at 6:50 pm when the unidentified 55 year old Harley rider flipped his motorcycle on county road 305 in Voluisa county according to Florida Highway Patrol. The victim was not wearing a helmet and pronounced dead at the scene. The second fatality occurred the same day at 8:50 pm on Ocean Shore Blv in Ormond Beach. The crash involved multiple motorcycles with one fatality.

Key West Poker Run Draws 10,000 Bikers Riding the 126 mile Florida Keys Overseas Highway to Key West

Key West, Fla. -

The Key West Poker Run is in full swing, with as many as 10,00 bikers making the trek for the Diabetes Research Institute to raise money and for the Key West Sunrise Rotary Club.

Bikers started near the top of the keys and made stops along the way drawing a poker card at each stop. Teams with the best hand once the reach Key West will have the opportunity to play in a Texas Hold 'em poker game saturday night with the winner walking away with a New Harley-Davidson Sportster motorcycle.

Motorcyclist Randalh Ignacio Ran Over and Killed On I-4 in Sanford, Driver Did Not Stop

Sanford, Fla. -

A motorcyclist was involved in an accident when his Kawasaki hit the rear end of another vehicle and was ejected into other travel lanes. He was then ran over by at least one vehicle, the driver of which did not stop.

The incident happened on I-4 westbound at SR 46A, near 417 in Sanford. FHP say they are looking for the driver that ran over the motorcyclist and charges will be filed. The driver of the vehicle originally hit by the motorcyclist, Justin Adams, is not facing any charges or a ticket, and was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol said FHP officers.
