Three Doors Down Bassist Todd Harrell Charged With Vehicular Homicide

Todd Harrell the bassist for Three Doors Down has been charged vehicular homicide by intoxication on Saturday after being involved in a crash that killed another driver. Harrell was in a Cadillac CTS west on Highway 40 in Nashville Tennessee late Friday when he clipped a pickup truck causing it to lose control, travel down and embankment, and overturn.

Harrell had been asked to perform a sobriety test on scene as he showed signs of impairment. In a police statement Harrell, “acknowledged consuming hard cider and taking prescription Lortab and Xanax,".

Tennessee Man Charged $84,522.24 For Gas At Mapco Gas Station; Citi And Mapco Slow To Help Solve Error

Ray Crockett filled up his Nissan Maxima at a Mapco gas station just outside of Nashville and was erroneously charged $84,522,24 for his gas. Crockett called his bank, Citi, and the gas station, but neither would help him, even after explained his car can't hold that much gas.

The stated price per gallon for gas was $2.93, and he used his debit card to buy $30 worth of gas and left. Later, when he tried to buy lunch, he was told the transaction was declined.

Explosion At Opryland Hotel In Nashville During National Sheriff's Convention

There has been a large explosion at the Opryland Hotel in Nashville Tennessee where a national sheriff's convention was being held, which included Orange County Sheriff Jerry Demmings and Volusia County Sheriff Ben Johnson.

So far, there have been no reports on injuries, however the scene and reports are not yet consistent.

No word yet on what caused the explosion but officials have played down terrorism links saying it was more likely a mechanical or facility fault.

Occupy Demonstrators Arrested in D.C., Oregon & Tennessee For Blocking Roads, Building Wooden Structures

Park police in the national capital along with police in Nashville, TN and Portland, OR arrested Occupy protesters over the weekend.

In Washington, D.C., Occupy protesters began building a wooden building in the park and Park police gave them an hour to begin dismantling it. After protesters failed to begin tearing it down after several hours police moved in and arrested those inside the structure and tore down the impromptu building.
