Justin Timberlake Is Coming To Orlando's Amway Center December 19th

Justin Timberlake has announced that he will preform in Orlando, at the Amway Center, on December 19th as part of his world tour "The 20/20 Experience".

Tickets go on sale May 13th at 10:00am for his fan club members, The Tennessee Kids.

General sales will open later with prices ranging from $45 to $175.

IOA Corporate 5K Run In Orlando To Have Tighter Security Following Boston Marathon Bombing

Orlando, Fla. -

Organizers of the IOA Corporate 5k run in downtown Orlando along with the Orlando Police have said they will be increasing overall security and police presence for the run following the Boston Marathon bombing which killed three people so far and injured another 134.

16,000 runners are expected to participate in the run drawing contestants from all over the country and a few foreign places as well.

The route is rectangular and will follow Central Blvd, Bumby, Robinson and Rosalind, encircling Lake Eola.

Paul McCartney Coming To Amway Center In Orlando May 18

Orlando mayor Buddy Dyer has announced that Paul McCartney will be coming to Orlando on May 18th as part of his tour, and will preform in the Amway Center.

The "Out There' tour is also visiting several other cities and is the first time the popular singer and former Beatles member will have come to Orlando since 1993.

Tourist Find Dead Body Near International Drive, Police Say Homicide

Orlando, Fla. -

According to police, tourist Jeff Mahanes of N.C. discovered a body off International Drive Sunday, and said the death was homicide. Police have described the body as a Hispanic male, 5-7, with a surgical scar on his stomach and have not been able to identify the body yet.

Jeff Mahanes and his son were walking to a pond to go fishing when they discovered the body and notified police.

So far, police have not said how the body got there, the cause of death, or how long it has been there.

Wawa May Force Gas Price War At Stations Near Orlando International Airport

As Wawa builds one of its newest gas stations on Semoran Blvd near the airport, it may be the solution to what many in the area complain about, gas prices over $5 per gallon, despite the average price in the Orlando metro area being $3.59 per gallon.

The two stations, Sun Gas and Suncoast, have long preyed upon unsuspecting tourist filling up their rental vehicles just before returning them to fly home say city officials, who passed an ordinance that requires gas station to post their prices.

Former Florida GOP Chairman Sentenced To 18 Months In Prison In Orlando Courtroom

Circuit Judge Marc Lubet has sentenced Jim Greer to 18 months in state prison after being convicted of stealing $125,000 in party money. Prosecutors had pushed for 3 1/2 years in prison.

Greer pleaded guilty after a pending trial threatened to expose the inner workings of Florida's Republican Party say legal experts watching the trial in which even more than the exotic trips to the Bahamas, prostitution and other free-spending ways could have possibly come out.

Drive-by Shooting In Orlando Leaves 1 Female Injured

Orlando, Fla.

According to police 23-year-old Latoya Grady was injured during a drive-by shooting near the intersection of Solomon Drive and Prince Hall Boulevard, which is near Vineland Rd and Burton Blvd, next to I-4. The incident happened Monday (today) at about 11:00am.

Grady was rushed to the hospital and is expected to recover after sustaining gun shot wounds to the hand and thigh.

Orlando police said they do have someone in custody, but are not releasing the details yet.

Former Windermere Police Chief Daniel Slayor Arrested Again For Pegury

Former Windermere police Chief Daniel Slayor arrested again for perjury during a sex battery case of his friend Scott Bush. This is the second arrest in connection with the claim that he urged on his officers to destroy records relating to the case. Those accusations lead to his first arrest.

Scott Bush was sentenced the same day to life in prison. Slayor was terminated from his position with the Windermere Police Department and lost his police certification.

Court Trustee In Casey Anthony Asks Court Permissoin To Sell her Story To Pay Legal Debts

Court Trustee Stephen Meininger has asked Judge K. Rodney May for permission to sell the "worldwide legal rights" to the Casey Anthony story to pay her legal debts. Anthony is in bankruptcy and has stated she has no job and no income.

Casey Anthony is 26-years-old now and was acquitted of murder in the death of her 2-year-old daughter Caylee.

Up to now, Anthony has never told her side of the story to the press, media, book sellers or movie studios.

Guns Found In backpack Of 12 y/o Student At Glenridge Middle School

Orlando, Fla. -

Police have arrested a 12-year-old student at Glenridge Middle School in the Baldwin Park area of Orlando after discovering he had two handguns in his backpack.

After receiving an anonymous tip, police say they found a fully-loaded Mack10 and a .380 handgun.

The student has been charged with possession of a handgun on school property.
